Caitlin Jiao Alexander is an emerging writer. She was born in China, adopted at approximately four months of age, and raised in Minnesota. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. Her writing often explores identity, culture, adoption, and mental health. She lives in Minnesota and enjoys rollerblading, trying new foods, and spending time with her cat (even though she is a little bit allergic).

She is currently a 2022-23 Creative Nonfiction Fellow with the Loft Literary Center Mentor Series program.
